The Human Movement
We are at a crossroads in the development of AI. Countless individuals are warning us about the new arms' race, the race to develop AI. The 8 individuals who are behind this race, the ones who will most benefit financially, are all building bunkers even as they openly admit that they no longer know how AI works.
They know that the elimination of the human race is a real possibility. Unfortunately most of us don't have the means to build a bunker, or escape to New Zealand. I have listened to the voices of Tristan Harris, Karen Hao, Geoffrey Hinton, Mo Gawdat, and many others who are attempting to persuade us to ACT NOW!
At this point AI has used blackmail to get what it wants, can replicate itself, is generating 90% of Anthropic's AI code. It is improving itself through recursive learning.
There is a movement to put the brakes on AI, to attempt to steer it in a more humane, a human direction. It can't be done by any one individual, any one major corporation, or even by a single country. We must all join the movement, the human movement. Watch the introduction and decide for yourself.
